1) Technician Staff / Junior Technician

Job Summary:

The Technician Executive is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and executing technical support and maintenance tasks. This role ensures all equipment, systems, and facilities operate efficiently and in compliance with safety and quality standards. The Technician Executive acts as a bridge between technical staff and management, ensuring timely execution of projects and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery, equipment, and systems.
  2. Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
  3. Coordinate and monitor maintenance schedules and work orders.
  4. Supervise junior technicians or contractors when necessary.
  5. Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  6. Maintain accurate records of service logs, repairs, and parts inventory.
  7. Assist in installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment.
  8. Liaise with vendors or suppliers for parts, tools, and technical support.
  9. Propose improvements to enhance operational efficiency and system reliability.
  10. Support cross-functional teams for technical planning or special projects.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technical Studies, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a technician or maintenance role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or relevant technical systems.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Basic computer skills (e.g., MS Office, maintenance software).

2) Barista (Events)

Tanamera Coffee is hiring Baristas to support our out-of-store events team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and Serve Coffee: Expertly prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, including espresso, cappuccino, and lattes, adhering to our quality standards.
  2. Customer Service: Interact with customers in a friendly and efficient manner, take and process orders, and address customer inquiries and concerns.
  3. Maintain Cleanliness: Ensure the cleanliness and hygiene of the coffee preparation area and equipment at all times.
  4. Order Handling: Process orders quickly and accurately, providing customers with the right product in a timely manner.
  5. Product Knowledge: Stay informed about coffee varieties, brewing methods, and menu items to assist customers in making informed choices.
  6. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth setup, operations and demobilisation, contributing to a positive work environment.
  7. Stocking and Inventory: Monitor and restock coffee beans, milk, and other supplies as needed for each event, keeping track of inventory levels.
  8. Adherence to Policies: Follow SFA hygiene guidelines and company policies regarding food safety, sanitation, and customer service.
  9. Basic Technical Knowledge: Able to setup, troubleshoot and pack coffee equipment for events out of store independently.
  10. Physically fit: Mobile and able to carry a reasonable amount of weight in setup and demobillisation of equipment as needed for events.

Qualifications and Skills:

  1. Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred.
  2. Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and a passion for coffee, including coffee equipment.
  3. Strong customer service and communication skills.
  4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  5. Basic math skills.
  6. Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness and hygiene.
  7. Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  8. Ability to operate coffee brewing equipment and iPad/Android tablet.
  9. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
  10. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
